Jeans are one of the things I believe in spending money on.If you buy a good pair of jeans they will last you years and remain a staple in your wardrobe. When I was 18, I worked in The Levi's Store in Dublin,Ireland. The discount was amazing;COST PRICE!At the moment I have 3 pairs of Levi's,all bought when I was around 17 or 18.I'm now 24 (going on 25 in September, eek!) and and I can confirm all 3 pairs are in still amazing working order. The pair I'm going to show you are my favourites.I bought them 6 years ago,way before the Boyfriend trend came in,and I still get great wear out of them!
Wear and Tear
I bought them two sizes to big so I could wear them low and baggy.I have to turn the ends up loads! But it looks cool with a pair of killer heels ;o)
They are 501's if you are wondering.501's used to be quite high waisted jeans, but a few years ago they changed the cut so that the top waist part was more square in shape (ie: no more Simon Cowell waists)!
These were a limited edition and I love them to pieces. Levi's Engineered are also great if you are looking for a slightly different cut. So buy your 501's two sizes too big, wear with converse or turn them up and rock them with a pair of your favourite stilettos.Either way, they'll be a great staple in your wardrobe.
I can't go without showing you my t-shirt.It's a bit rude!
Bar is written just under Fanny's!Got this t-shirt in Urban Outfitters a few years ago.It always gets a reaction!

The Sweetest Thing
I was out in Richmond today,a lovely area in Southwest London by the Thames. Just having a wander around the shops and decided to pop into Waterstones bookshop to see if anything interested me. First table inside the door had loads of books on art, interior design, architecture and fashion. One book in particular caught my eye!I didn't even realise he had released one (maybe I need to catch up with the times!). The book I am talking about is of course..............
What else would it be!It's a beautiful little book and I'm slightly jealous of all the painfully stylish people inside it's cover.
See what I mean.....
They make it look so easy,if only it were!
If you buy one stylish book this year, buy The Sartorialist. It will give you hours of influence and it's small enough to fit in your handbag. If you look at the same image twice you always discover a new detail.
Oh to be featured in this fashion bible..........

New Stuff!
I finished my internship yesterday for a fashion and beauty PR agency in London. On my way out they gave a little bag filled with goodies! It would be rude for me not to share!
I don't know if you can tell the colour of this one.I put it on my nails last night and it turned out a lovely mulberry/purple/navy colour.I know it's not very Summery but I like it!
This nail polish remover is great!!It's Ciate White Chocolate polish remover. After you've removed your old nail polish, you bare nails smell of chocolate!Much better than that chemical acetone smell. It's a huge bottle so it will last ages.
Check out the Ciate website for the rest of their hand treats. Asos also stock their products.
These cartoon style necklaces are from Punkypins .You can also get personalised name necklaces. Perfect for when you want to create your own "Carrie" moment.
These moustache earrings are also from Punkypins. Cute aren't they?
If you are a David Bowie fan or a Labyrinth fan (which I am) you'll love this t-shirt!! Labyrinth was one of my favourite movies growing up. Back then I didn't have a clue who David Bowie was. In fairness Labyrinth was release in 1986 and I was born in 1985, so I think I'm off the hook! You can get this t-shirt and bucket loads of other retro and 80's styles at Truffleshuffle.
Maybe the 80's weren't that bad!!?

Alexander McQueen's right hand woman
Sarah Burton, Lee McQueen's right hand woman for the past 16 years, has been named creative director at the London based fashion house.
Photo: Vogue.co.uk
Burton joined the brand in 1996 and in 2000 became head of womenswear design. She completed the Autumn/Winter 2010/11 collection just a month after Lee's death in time for Paris Fashion Week.
Congratulations to her and may she continue producing designs that will stand to the McQueen name.

Chemical Brother stimulation......
I went to see The Chemical Brothers on Sunday night in The Roundhouse in Camden,London. They were amazing live. I had never seen them before! I've been to Faithless a couple of times and Too Many DJ's, but I have to say that The Chemical Brother's visuals were amazing. I'm not sure if my camera will do them justice!
Fellow club goers
The Brothers Chemical finally come on!We were right at the front which was amazing.
Someone was in a "hole".......
And then the visual orgasm began......
My boyfriend enjoying the sights
Ed getting involved!
The end of the show :O(
An amazing show!An audio and visual delight!

A few of my loves!
I was faffing around in my wardrobe last night trying to tidy up and decided to share some of my favourite things with you.A few random bit,a few old bits and some lovely bits.
This is my grandmother. I think she was 17 or 18 when this picture was taken. Isn't she beautiful?! I love the perfect wave in her hair and the fur stole draped on her shoulders. Timeless.
My grandmother again. This was probably when she was close to her 50's. By this stage she would have been on baby 12 or 13. Your eyes are not wrong! This was normal for an Irish family back in the good aul' days!! She was a classy lady with bucket loads of style! How she managed to look like this after caring for so many kids I will never know!
Do you have any pictures of your family???
My Cons. They are my most reliable shoes!
Just because they are damn sexy!
I got these boots in River Island! Everyone always asks me if they are from All Saints ( I wish). They have seen me through winter, rain and slips and falls in the Winter snow and ice. Time for them to retire for the summer!
