SHOES GLORIOUS SHOES!!!

Shoe Heaven.Ahhhhhhh..........

That's what it was last night.I was lucky enough to be at Cleo B's flagship store opening on Edbury Street, London. Cleo has previously worked and interned with Salvatore Ferragamo and one of my absolute favourites, Nicholas Kirkwood. Please do enjoy the following pictures I took!

Come on girls! What do you think!?
And by the way, this is the Spring/Summer '10 collection. You should have seen the Autumn/Winter '10 range. Think pony skin, clusters of beads and octagonal shaped heels in gold.

Now where's my wallet???

Feel Good

Feel Good. That's what I'm telling you. Although, maybe I should listen to my own advice. I'm the worst for stressing and worrying. Bless my better half, he knows exactly when I'm worried. "Carla, what are you stressing about?I can hear the cogs in your little head turning and you've hardly spoken since you got home", he says.

Money, work, money, loans, money, over drawn credit card, money, putting on weight, money.....I think you are getting the idea by now.

But do you know what?Maybe this time I will take the advice I'm doling out tonight. I have my health and that is the greatest rich in the world you can have. Love comes a close second :O)

So on this beautiful Summers eve, have a listen to this beautfiul Feel Good song.

Brighton in the sun

I went to Brighton last weekend. I'd never been there and I didn't know what to expect of the famous seaside town. The weather was beaming down and I of course forgot my sunscreen. The skin on my nose is now vacating.Attractive. I took these pictures while we were lazing on the stoney beach.

I'm Blue

Well not in the sad sense. My nails are! Got my nails "did" yesterday and I LOVE the colour!!It's by Ciate. They've got a great range of colours. This is just one juicy colour from their Spring/Summer 2010 collection.

I recently saw Oliver! and it was amazing! "As long as he needs me" is such a heart wrenching song.......
Anyways, I was walking through Soho yesterday and came across this piece of street art. It's a brilliant piece of work and I think it captures Dodger's character brilliantly.

Happy Belly

Today I have been with my boyfriend Tom for 4 years! And I have loved every minute of it!

To celebrate he brought me to Gordon Ramsey at Royal Hospital Road. A 3 Michelin Star restaurant serving the most beautiful food!I have never been to a Michelin Star restaurant until today and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

So because I have a full belly, I'm feeling a bit lazy.Just got off the Vogue website and I've spotted some semi-naked Italian men in underwear. So here's to being lazy, having a full belly and having a wonderful boyfriend of 4 years (who is way better than the naked Italians!)

And here's Tom!He's the one on the right :O)

The OutNet.com....check it out!

So we all know about the huge success of Net-A-Porter.com. Designer shopping in our own living rooms....well I would say that if I had the funds! Anyways, for mere mortals like me, and maybe you, there is The OutNet.com. This website is the like the little sister of Net-A-Porter.com and it's alot more affordable. Yes some of the stock may be last season etc etc, BUT, STYLE NEVER GOES OUT OF FASHION. So, I'm sure you will find some classic stylish pieces in there!

Speaking of which.....Clogs! Chanel brought clogs back with a bang and there is no escaping them. Check out these bad boys, I found them on The OutNet.com.

Miu Miu: £115 (originally £230)!!

Stella McCartney: £186 (60% off original price!!!

Gorgeous aren't they?!If only.......

On to something a bit more affordable.

thischarminggirl.com

Excellent website for vintage style and vintage jewellery.

I quite like this little number.

You are pre warned that some of the pieces may look a bit tarnished as they are vintage and some of them are made with vintage bits 'n' pieces.

On another note....would anyone be interested in swapping clothes? The idea came to me today while I was clearing out my wardrobe for the local charity shop.
How fun would it be to swap clothes with someone else? "One man's trash is another man's treasure"....and all we would have to pay would be the postage of the parcel!

Maybe I am mad, but I thought it was a good idea! If anyone is interested I am a size 10 on top and 10/12 on bottom!

Embrace the paste?

Oh shit,Summer is outside my window.I am blessed with the fairest Irish skin, and at the beginning of each summer I look like a walking, fluorescent white glow stick.

So today I walked to the supermarket to buy some lunch with my boyfriend, and I am sure my white glow offended the beautiful Brazilian girl we passed by. Do you know what though? I don't really care that I am this pasty!I don't leave fake tan marks all over my bed sheets and I don't smell like weird biscuits either (if you know of a fake tan with a nice fragrance, please do enlighten me).

You know, back in the good 'aul days, fair skin was seen as a sign of wealth and that you were from the upper echelons of society.Unfortunately for me, I am not wealthy, I am a fashion PR intern.....

So what to do now my friends? Do I Embrace the Paste? Or, do I hit the bottle and smell like funky biscuits!!?

Let's start with a quote because it's late and I want to go to bed now.

"Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months". Oscar Wilde. And aren't we glad it changes every six months!Night night.
